It would be a huge understatement to say that the current situation, as a result of Covid-19, has been challenging and unsettling for a variety of reasons. This has impacted our lives beyond what any of us could have expected, with business being a particularly affected area.
That said, we can’t help but be full of admiration to those on the ‘frontline’ within the NHS and those other key workers that have enabled things to keep going. Very much part of that group, is those startups that work in associated sectors that have used their resources and their talented people to support the fight against the pandemic and support affected communities.
We’d love to be in a position to support the fight directly but offering what we do best as a team here at Troi seems to make more sense. We’ve collectively come to the decision that we want to contribute and volunteer our services to those businesses that have made direct sacrifices, volunteered or discounted products or services to help improve the current situation.
In normal circumstances, Troi provide an embedded talent model aimed at startups and scaleups hiring frequently. We normally sit within your business and make your hires on a fixed monthly subscription basis. We’ve now switched to a fully remote model where we can continue pretty much as normal. Our expertise is largely within tech, but we’re a team of experienced recruiters who can hire across marketing, sales, operations and other areas too.
Troi are offering our ‘in-house’ recruitment service on a voluntary basis – i.e. at no cost – to those businesses who are doing such great work. We do not have unlimited capacity by any stretch, but we want to utilise our spare time in the best possible way.
