Transform is a leading global consultancy specialising in digital transformation. By blending Service Design and Technology, they help organisations plan, design and launch innovative services and develop their digital thinking to sustain them. They are part of a larger digital services business – the Engine Group – and operate in London, Manchester, Newcastle and Sydney. Whilst they have serviced large private sector clients, their main focus has been public sector.
Having received acclaimed recognition for their work at Home Office, OPJ and Public Health England, Transform was growing their practice exponentially and in need of permanent and contract consultants to meet the growing demands, projects and SOWs. Additionally, starting in Jan 2019 transform merged with two sister Engine Group brands which took them from a business of 50 to 150 and a hiring pipeline of 40+ for 2019.
Transform had an existing talent function, but a combination of hiring for a variety of disciplines, both contract and permanent, and the sheer volume of new headcount to recruit for, meant they needed additional support to meet their goals. Transform had use recruitment agencies substantially but they found they lacked control of their process and were unable to convey Transform’s message in a way that was appealing enough to prospective hires. That, of course, was in addition to the cost and inconsistency from their suppliers. Combing their growth plans and their current methods not meeting demands, they were keen to have an onsite Recruitment as a service partner to help with the upcoming number of hires.
Transform utilised Troi’s services due to their excellent success within transformative consultancies and within the Engine Group for the previous 12 months. After having implemented Troi’s we have seen that the outcomes have been so far the ones we expected, with the use of agencies being removed and the creation of a smoother, faster recruitment process.
